What is new is at the top. It is shown twice. Under Topics, the avatar speaks. That file is for interested laypeople. Under Library, there is no avatar. That file is for scientists: a short description, and the links to the papers. The topics are the same in both places. Similar papers by other people are included, so the same work is not done twice. When a new paper belongs to a topic, the app takes it in. The week lists his posts by day. You can ask a question in the field above. Suggestions are welcome.

The outbreak is the rare Bundibugyo virus. There is no known treatment and no vaccine, and containment is failing. The health ministry’s latest figures, released Sunday, list 8,067 confirmed cases and 3,901 deaths across 63 health zones in seven of 26 provinces, a fatality rate above 48 percent as of September 26. A large share of those infected died, not counting delays in seeking help or hidden cases.
